The Fond du Lac Public Works Department is giving motorists a heads up about a street closure.  West First Street from Military Road to Macy Street will be closed Monday beginning at 7:00 am.  The street will re-open at the end of day.  Access to the Post Office will remain in open from Macy Street.

9-29-23 wisconsin supreme court won’t hear longshot case trying to head off impeachment

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit seeking an order blocking any attempt from the state Legislature to impeach Justice Janet Protasiewicz. 9-29-23 wisconsin corn mill owners plead to federal charges in fatal explosion

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A milling company has agreed to plead guilty to falsifying records at a Wisconsin plant that exploded six years ago, killing five workers.  Didion Milling Inc. has agreed to plead guilty in federal court to two counts of falsifying records at its Cambria plant for two years before the explosion. 9-29-23 victim of fatal dodge county car crash identified

The victim of a fatal car vs tree crash in Dodge County last week has been identified.  The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says 39 year old Crystal Rische of Juneau died in the crash last Friday on Highway 26 south of Red Cedar Road.  A preliminary investigation shows that Rische failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 26 and struck a tree.  She was  pronounced dead at the scene.
