A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a dump truck in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly before 5:30pm Thursday on County Highway R near Highway O. A preliminary investigation showed the motorcycle was southbound on R when it collided with the truck as the truck was turning into a driveway. The motorcycle operator, a 61 year old Watertown man, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul Friday announced the final approval of $17.3 billion in opioid agreements with drug makers Teva and Allergan and pharmacies CVS and Walgreens. Meeting Tuesday night the board approved resolutions eliminating the Natural Beauty Council and the Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum Advisory committee. A restroom ceiling fan is to blame for a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac coffee shop. Shortly before 8:30am Thursday firefighters were called to The Uba Brews, Blends and Bites coffee shop on South Main Street quickly extinguished the fire before it could spread to the attic. The fire started in the motor of the bathroom vent fan and spread to some combustibles in the restroom. Nobody was injured.
