The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Jordan Love have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension that makes his deal run through 2024, according to a person familiar with the situation.    Although the person didn’t reveal terms, ESPN and NFL Network reported that the extension included $13.5 million in guaranteed money and could be worth up to $22.5 million.  The extension comes as Love prepares for his first season as the Packers’ starting quarterback following […]

A Hilbert man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County. It started Monday evening following a traffic stop on Interstate 41 near Johnson Street and reached speeds of up to 130 mph before it was terminated. The suspect vehicle later crashed near County highway N. The driver was arrested following a short foot chase. He faces multiple charges including possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.

(AP) — Wisconsin legislators have approved the state's share of a settlement stemming from a multistate lawsuit accusing drug manufacturers and distributors of contributing to the nation's opioid crisis. A coalition of states and local governments secured settlements in November and December with opioid manufacturers Teva and Allergan as well as with pharmaceutical chains Walmart, Walgreens and CVS totaling $19.2 billion.
