5-3-23 fdl lakeside park lighthouse repair work on schedule

Repair work continues on the Fond du Lac Lakeside Park Lighthouse.  Fond du Lac Advisory Park Board member John Papenheim says crews have removed and replaced siding,  and rotted studs, along with concrete cap, cleaning and tuck pointing.   Meanwhile, Papenheim says work is also ongoing on a major street and parking lot renovation project  on  Lighthouse Drive.   All of the work is slated to be completed by the end of May.

In the early morning hours of May 1 st , the Federal Bureau of Investigation notified the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office of a school threat video they intercepted that had been shared on a social media platform. The City Of Fond du Lac has awarded the contract for the bridge between Lakeside Park and Lakeside Park West to Zenith Tech.
