4-1-23 fdl street closure

A portion of East McWilliams Street in Fond du Lac will be closed for a couple days next week.   Starting Monday  East McWilliams from Marquette Street to Amory Street will be closed through the end of the day Tuesday.    The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace  and restore a lead service line.

Friday is Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action.   Fond du Lac County Tobacco Prevention and Control Coordinator Johanna Brotz says the day is sponsored by The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids to raise awareness about the danger of tobacco.  Brotz says while there has been significant progress in the fight against tobacco, youth vaping has become an epidemic.   Brotz says tobacco companies continue to target teens when it comes to vape products.
