Meteorologists are predicting flood threats for a large portion of the U.S. this spring. With gradually warming temperatures and repeated major snow events over the past several weeks the national weather service says flooding is a threat in the event of heavy rain in a short period of time. MILWAUKEE (AP) — A man was arrested after he allegedly brought a gun into a library at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The 25-year-old man was seen loading the gun in Golda Meir Library on Thursday afternoon. A cigarette butt apparently started a fire that damaged the porch of a Van Dyne grocery store/apartment unit. Shortly after 3:30am Monday firefighters were called to the scene on Van Dyne Road, for a fire threatening the attached structure, which contained two apartments and Giese's Country Market. One person was killed in a one vehicle crash in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly before 12:30am Sunday on the Highway 151 on-ramp at County Highway B. Investigators say the car traveled through the intersection, striking a sign in the median, entered a ditch, traveled down the embankment, striking a fence and a tree. The 64 year old male driver was pronounced dead at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
