BELLAIRE, Mich. (AP) — A Wisconsin man who was accused of a secondary role in a plot to kidnap Michigan’s governor has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. 3-16-23 local unemployment rate jumps in january

The local unemployment rate is up in the latest reporting period.  The city of Fond du Lac's unemployment rate in January was 2.6 percent, up from 2.2 in December.   Fond du Lac County's jobless rate jumped half a percent to 2.3 percent and the Dodge County rate increased six-tenths of a percent to 2.5 percent.
