3-6-23 fdl street closure

The Fond du Lac Department of Public Works says  West Division Street from Brooke Street to Gould Street will be closed starting Monday. The closure will begin Monday, March 6 and remain closed for approximately four weeks.  A private contractor will be boring new communication lines and replacing communication vaults in advance of the West Division Street Bridge reconstruction scheduled for fall 2023.

The Fond du Lac County Fair has announced the big name entertainment for this year's Fair.  The rock group Skillet will perform Thursday July 20th,  Tesla on Friday July 21st and country music star Randy Hauser will perform Saturday July 22nd.   The Fair kicks off Tuesday July 18th with professional bull riding and barell racing.  A tractor and truck pull will be held Wdnesday July 18th and the Fair will wrap up  […]

3-4-23 fdl spelling bee winner

Congratulations to Trinity Barrett-Paap!  The 6th grader from FDL Christian School correctly spelled the word  "attenuated"  to win the 2023 Fond du lac Spelling Bee held Thursday at Theisen Middle School.   Chloe Boehringer of St. Peters Lutheran School was the runner-up.    Thirty two spellers competed.
