Former Fond  du Lac School District Pupil Services director Katie Moder was the top vote getter in Tuesday's primary election for Fond du Lac School Board.  Moder received 3,462 votes and will advance to the April election along with challenger Joan Pennau (2,587 votes) and school board members Rick Gedemer (2,037 votes) and Andrea Schultz (1,846 votes).  The four candidates will square off for two seats on the board. https://www.fdlco.wi.gov/Home/Components/News/News/8824/103?backlist=%2f

MADISON, Wis. Nobody was injured in a fire that caused minor damage to the porch of a home in Fond du Lac.  Shortly after 4:30pm Tuesday firefighters were called to the scene at 229 Ellis Street and quickly extinguished the smoldering fire.  Before firefighters arrived the occupants had used a fire extinguisher to knock down the fire.  Firefighters overhauled the area where the fire started and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. photo: fdl […]
