Nobody was injured in a fire that started in the garbage can in the kitchen of a Fond du Lac home. Shortly after 10am Thursday firefighters were called to a home at 646 Ledgeview Blvd. The homeowner was able to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher before firefighters arrived. According to an obituary from Lyndahl Funeral Home, Duey “Duke” Wright passed away on Dec. 21 at age 83.
