A second defendant in the fentanyl overdose death of a Ripon man is going to prison. Joseph Schmidt Rehbein who was 15 years old at the time of the offense was sentenced to five and a half years in prison and 10 and a half years extended supervision. He was earlier convicted of first degree reckless homicide.

Wisconsinites are expected to travel in record numbers for the year-end holiday period. From Saturday December 21 to Wednesday January 1 AAA predicts 2.39 million Wisconsinites will travel 50 miles or more from home.
