12-20-24 wisconsin unemployment rate holds steady

Wisconsin's unemployment rate held steady in November.   The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development says the statewide unemployment rate last month was 2.9 percent,   1.3 percent below the national unemployment rate of 4.2 percent.  According to preliminary U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates workers set a seventh consecutive monthly record for employment.

12-19-24 watertown man seriously injured in rollover crash

One person was seriously injured in a one-vehicle alcohol-related rollover crash in Dodge County.  The crash happened shortly after 10:30am Wednesday on County Road MM near Robin Road.  A preliminary investigation shows an SUV was eastbound on MM, failed to negotiate a curve, crossed over the center line, entered a ditch and rolled over ejecting the driver.  A 38 year old Watertown man was flown by helicopter to a hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.  […]
