12-16-24 garbage can fire spreads to house in fdl

Nobody was injured and the investigation continues after garbage cans outside a Fond du Lac home caught fire. Shortly after 1:30 am Monday firefighters were called to 718 Martin Avenue where two large garbage cans were on fire and the fire had spread to the house. The fire was quickly extinguished and the cause remains under investigation.

12-16-24 15 pigs die in fdl county barn fire

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a pole shed in Fond du Lac County. Around 9pm Friday firefighters were called the scene on Lost Arrow Road to find the barn fully engulfed in flames. Fifteen pigs inside the building died in the fire. Investigators believe numerous heat lamps inside the structure may have accidentally started the fire.

12-16-24 campbellsport man killed in two-vehicle crash in fdl county

One person was killed and one person was injured in an alcohol related two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County.
