MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin health officials have confirmed 280 new cases of the coronavirus, down about 100 in the last day. The update released Sunday puts the total of positive COVID-19 tests in the state at more than 24,800. 6-22-20 fdl area foundation pandemic relief grants

The Fond du Lac Area Foundation has  distributed 19 pandemic relief grants to Fond du Lac County nonprofit organizations.  Foundation director Joe Braun says the grants are a result of the Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund, which was created in 2008 and is set in action only in response to extreme circumstances,  such as natural disasters and community crises.   The fund was activated in April in response to COVID-19’s deep community impact.  Nonprofit organizations receiving […]

A  UW Oshkosh statewide economic survey shows Wisconsin businesses continue to demonstrate resilience during the pandemic.  Forty one percent of respondents to the survey indicate they have introduced or expanded online services over the last three months.   Sixty percent of respondents say they have requested financial assistance and 52 percent have received aid.  Only ten percent of respondents estimate being able to stay in business for less than three months …an increase in business survivability from […]
