5-4-20 covid-19 cases in wi increase by 460

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says confirmed coronavirus cases increased by 460 on Friday. That is the second day in a row of record-high infections. The spike also marked the second day in a row that positive cases increased as a percentage of overall tests processed. Of the 3,632 tests processed on Thursday, 12.7% were positive. A Fond du Lac County man is the first donor of convalescent plasma at the Community Blood Center in Appleton helping in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.  Gregg Bartel of Malone, Wis., who was diagnosed with COVID-19 and has since fully recovered, was CBC’s first donor of convalescent plasma on Wednesday, April 29.
