MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee’s health commissioner says officials have identified seven people who appear to have contracted the coronavirus through activities related to the April 7 election in Wisconsin. The Tavern League of Wisconsin is calling on Governor Tony Evers to allow bars and restaurants to reopen on May 1, more than three weeks ahead of the current stay at home order that has forced the closure of most nonessential businesses.
