4-20-20 longtime fdl restaurant owner dies from covid-19

An iconic Fond du Lac restaurateur has died from COVID-19.  David Noe died Thursday at his winter home in Florida.  He was 74.  Sources told WFDL news Noe first became ill about two and a half weeks ago.    Noe was the owner of several popular, well-established Fond du Lac restaurants including Sebastian’s, Salty’s, and Friar Tucks.  He also previously owned Gino’s restaurant.   Noe is the fourth Fond du Lac […]

4-18-20 fdl county campgrounds can re-open next friday

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer is rescinding her order that had closed all campgrounds in the county.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says effective 8am Friday, April 24,  campgrounds will be allowed to re-open as long as they follow certain restrictions, including limiting all campsites to members of a single household or living unit.  All other private gatherings of any number of people are prohibited.  Campers must also maintain social distancing […]
