Funeral services are being held this week for a Fond du Lac police officer who died from COVID-19. Officer Joseph Kurer died last Wednesday at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 26 years old. Fond du Lac bus ridership continues to be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Transit manager Lynn Gillis told WFDL news ridership has been down over the last 18 months, and now with the recent surge in cases.
