The Fond  du Lac County Public Health Officer says she is saddened by the recent COVID-19 deaths in the county and concerned about the young ages of some of the victims.    The Health Department reported Friday that three men, ages 48, 53 and 55 had died from COVID-19.  An obituary in the newspaper reported Friday a 50 year old man died at St. Agnes Hospital Friday from complications due to COVID-19.  Public Health Officer […]

9-15-21 governor evers orders covid testing requirement for state workers

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers is ordering all executive branch employees to submit to weekly COVID-19 tests if they haven't submitted their vaccination status or aren't fully vaccinated. 9-14-21 free mobile covid-19 testing in fdl county delayed one week

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch says she raised $1.2 million from individuals in the days after she launched her campaign for governor on Thursday. The Oakfield School superintendent says data will dictate whether students and staff need to wear masks this school year.    At a special meeting last week the Oakfield School Board dropped it’s mask requirement.  But superintendent Tracey Conners says a mask requirement will be implemented if certain COVID metrics are met.  Conners says if ten percent of students at any site in the district are out with COVID that site would mask for 15 days.  […]
