MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Assembly has passed a Republican-backed bill that would prohibit businesses, colleges and universities, governments and anyone else in the state from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination. 6-17-21 fdl county getting more state assistance for pandemic

6-14-21 attic fire

Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac County home.  Shortly before midnight Sunday firefighters were called to the David and Paulette Smit home on Lori Lane in the town of Waupun for a report the kitchen ceiling was blistering hot.  Firefighters located  a fire in the attic and extinguished the fire.    The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.
