4-8-21 fdl county covid-19 cases-children

The Fond du Lac  County Public Health Officer says a handful of the new positive COVID-19 cases from Wednesday were children.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says three of the nine positive cases Wednesday were children not eligible to be vaccinated at this time.  Mueller says that’s why it’s important for people who are eligible to get vaccinated.  Five people are currently hospitalized in Fond du Lac County with COVID-19.

(AP) — The COVID-19 vaccination center at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison will be able to increase the number of doses delivered by 2,100 a week thanks to new staffing support from the federal government starting on Wednesday.
