3-25-21 waterfest returns to oshkosh

After cancelling the event last summer during the pandemic Waterfest is returning to Oshkosh.  The Oshkosh city council has approved a special event permit for the event scheduled to start in June.  Attendance would start out at about 50 percent capacity, increasing to 75 percent capacity after July 1.    Event organizers hope to announce the concert schedule by late April.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin legislators claimed more than $555,000 for traveling to and working in Madison in 2020, even though they never convened for a floor session during the last eight months of a year marked by the coronavirus pandemic. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Legislature has voted to take control of the state’s share of the $1.9 trillion federal coronavirus stimulus package away Democratic Gov. Tony Evers. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has signed a bill that allows dentists to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. Evers announced he had signed the bill on Monday morning, the same day that nearly 2 million more people with preexisting conditions became eligible for immunization. 3-20-21 regulators let ban on utility disconnections expire

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Tens of thousands of households in Wisconsin could lose utility service after state regulators voted against extending a moratorium on disconnections. 3-19-21 covid-19 deaths in fdl county hit 100

Fond du Lac County has reached a grim milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic.  Two deaths were reported Thursday bringing to 100 the total number of COVID-19- deaths in Fond du Lac County since the start of the pandemic.  There have been 11,953 positive COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac county after eight new cases were reported Thursday.
