1-26-21 covid-19 deaths in fdl county

Four more Fond  du Lac County residents have died from COVID-19.   After several days without a death, four COVID-related deaths were reported over the weekend in Fond du Lac County.  There have now been 77 COVID-19 deaths in Fond du Lac County since the start of the pandemic.   There were72 new positive cases confirmed over the weekend, bringing to  11,345, the total number of confirmed cases in the county.

The number of residents getting tested at a Drive-thru site at the Fond  du Lac County Fairgrounds remains down significantly from last fall when COVID-19 cases were spiking in the county.   "Pretty consistent of what we've been noticing for traffic flow for probably the last month," Public Health Officer Kim Mueller, told WFDL news.  Mueller  says 222 people were tested at the site last Thursday.  The testing site is open Thursdays from […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Wisconsin health officials are reporting an additional 42 new deaths related to COVID-19, and more than 1,600 new cases of the virus. But the state is also seeing a decline in hospitalizations, after hospitals were overwhelmed in the fall.
