The first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Fond du Lac.  Saint Agnes Hospital received it’s first doses Wednesday and Ripon Medical Center and Waupun Memorial Hospital are expected to receive vaccine doses this week.  Ripon Medical Center and Waupun Memorial Hospital president DeAnn Thurmer even though the vaccines are not mandatory for hospital staff she anticipates a high percentage to eventually get the vaccine.  Thurmer says about 60 percent […]

The number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases continue to remain low in Fond du Lac County, but there was another death reported.   There are now 58 deaths due to COVID1-9 in Fond du lac County.   There were 57 confirmed cases on Wednesday bringing to 9,668, the total number of cases in the county.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s downward trend in new positive COVID-19 cases is continuing, just as the first doses of vaccine were being administered to frontline healthcare workers across the state.
