11-13-20 state sets covid record

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin is reporting another day of jaw-dropping COVID-19 infection numbers. The state Department of Health Services reported a record 7,497 new confirmed cases on Thursday, obliterating the old record of 7,065 set on Saturday. The executive director of the Fond du Lac Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts says a new state grant will enable the organization to continue operations during the pandemic with winter right around the corner.  The Thelma has received a $137,000 COVID-19 Cultural Organization grant.  Thelma executive director Jacqui Corsi says the Thelma has experienced an 80 percent loss in revenue during the pandemic.  She says the grant will be used to help […]
