MILWAUKEE (AP) — Meteorologists believe that mysterious sounds reported southeastern Wisconsin may have been caused by a rare natural phenomenon known as “frost quakes.” They happen when moisture in the ground suddenly freezes and expands.  Muskego police on Sunday received reports of loud booming noises in the city but were unable to determine the source of the sounds. 12-28-20 fatal rollover crash on hwy 151 in calumet county

One person was killed in a one vehicle rollover crash on Highway 151 in Calumet County near the Fond du Lac County line.   The crash happened early Saturday morning on 151 near West Jefferson Road in the town of Brothertown.  A preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 151 when it left the highway and rolled over multiple times.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin Legislative Bureau report shows that yearly convictions for drunken driving and other related offenses dropped by nearly 18,000  between 2004 and 2018.
