9-16-20 fatal car vs ambulance crash in fdl

One person was killed and one person received life-threatening injuries in a crash Tuesday morning involving a car and an ambulance.  The State Patrol says a passenger in the car, a 21 year old Fond du Lac man, was killed in the crash.  The driver, a 28 year old Theresa man, received life-threatening injuries.   The patient being transported to the hospital and  two firefighter/paramedics in the ambulance received minor injuries.  […]

9-9-20 new ssm beaver dam clinic

The new SSM Health Clinic in Beaver Dam is on schedule to open in February of next year.  Construction crews have begun roofing work to enclose the 40,000 square foot clinic for interior work over the winter.  Masonry and stone work have begun on the facility’s north side and will proceed around the facility exterior. 9-7-20 high speed chase-fdl county

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in tracking down the driver of a car involved in a high speed chase over the Labor Day holiday weekend.   It happened Saturday evening when a sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a car on Rolling Meadows Drive and Rogersville Road when the deputy noticed the license plates did not match the vehicle.  The chase covered 22 miles on Highway 23, town and […]

8-26-20 family attorney says man shot by kenosha police not likely to walk again

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — The family attorney for a Black man shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, says his client is paralyzed and it would “take a miracle” for him to walk again. 8-24-20 campbellsport man seriously injured in motorcycle vs. car crash

A  71 year old Campbellsport man was seriously injured in a motorcycle versus car crash in Fond du Lac County Saturday.  According to the Sheriff’s Office  the motorcycle was attempting to pass a car on Highway B as the car was turning south onto Highway K.   The motorcycle operator was flown  by helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries.  He was wearing a helmet.

8-21-20 mobile home fire-beaver dam

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Beaver Dam.  Firefighters from several departments battled the blaze on Forest Road.  Two residents who were inside when the fire started were able to escape through a bedroom window.  There was minor damage to the adjacent mobile home and to 3 vehicles parked nearby.    Two firefighters received minor injuries.
