The Department of Criminal Investigations is investigating two residential fires in North Fond du lac on Friday.  Fire destroyed a home at 17 Meadowlark Court in the town of Friendship.   The house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.   While crews were investigating the fire firefighters were called to another report of a house on fire on Meadowlark Court and quickly extinguished a small fire on the back entryway of the residence.   Nobody was injured in […]

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a Malone man who was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash over the weekend is expected to survive.  Thirty nine year old Jeremy Groeschel was flown by helicopter to the hospital following the crash Sunday evening at the intersection of Highway 151 and County Highway HHH.  Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says the crash is a reminder about the importance of wearing a helmet.  […]

2-28-20 neighbors say brewery shooter built guns from mail order parts

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Neighbors of a Milwaukee electrician who fatally shot five people at one of the nation's largest breweries before killing himself say he enjoyed building guns. Police said Thursday that 51-year-old Anthony Ferrill was the gunman in Wednesday's shooting. He was a 15-year employee at the Molson Coors brewery complex. 2-7-20 man charged in fatal stabbing of retired oshkosh police captain

Prosecutors have charged a 28-year-old man in the fatal stabbing of a retired Oshkosh police captain. Ian Suzuki of Oshkosh was charged Thursday with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 67-year-old Jay Puestohl. Puestohl was stabbed with a knife Sunday afternoon and died later at a hospital.
