PORTAGE, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff's officials say the death of an inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution is under investigation. Prosecutors have charged a Madison man with damaging the Wisconsin Supreme Court chambers. Court records show 26-year-old Timothy Binford was charged Monday with felony property damage and disorderly conduct. According to a criminal complaint, Binford smashed a table and threw papers, name plates and electronics around the chambers on Nov. 26. 12-2-19 fatal beaver dam fire victims identified

Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal house fire in the town of Beaver Dam.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 82 year old Eleanor Neumann was pronounced dead at the hospital.  Ninety-one year old Ruben Neumann was treated at the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.  Firefighters from seven departments battled the fire Thursday night on Watercress Road .   The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
