MILWAUKEE (AP) — Law enforcement officers are investigating the third shooting along a Milwaukee interstate in less than two weeks.  The latest shooting happened Sunday about 8 p.m. and closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 43 as sheriff's deputies searched for evidence. SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) — An 8-year-old boy told authorities that a man who lives with him and his mother strapped him to a chair in the basement of their northeastern Wisconsin home, but that he escaped and sought help from strangers.   Police arrested 36-year-old Nathan Pogrant Monday on charges including false imprisonment and child abuse. 10-10-19 garbage truck strikes, kills 9-year old boy on bike in sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Sheboygan police say a city garbage truck hit and killed a 9-year-old boy as he rode his bicycle.  The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Sheboygan Police Chief Christopher Domagalski says the truck was making a turn when it struck the boy, who was riding on a sidewalk.  The boy died at the scene. He was from Sheboygan.
