Authorities are investigating the cause of a weekend fire at a Mondovi business.  A passer-by alerted authorities after seeing smoke coming from a barn at Loomis Lazy L Tack and Trailer Sales early Sunday afternoon.  The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department says the building was destroyed. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Assembly Democrats are weighing what punishment Rep.  Josh Zepnick deserves after two women accused him of sexual misconduct.  Two women who requested anonymity accused Zepnick of trying to kiss them at a 2011 candidate party and at the 2015 state Democratic convention.  Zepnick has said he doesn't remember the incidents but has apologized. The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Fond du Lac Salvation Army is underway.  Ron Jacobsen says the Red Kettle campaign goal is $160,000.  There are kettles at 15 locations in Fond du Lac and Jacobsen says there is always a need for volunteers to ring bells.  Meanwhile the Salvation Army is teaming up with Thrivent Member Network for Giving Tuesday.  "They're going to be matching any private donations […]

11-20-17 missing pet pit bull found running along i-41

Fond du Lac County sheriff's deputies rescued a pet dog running loose along Interstate 41 Friday morning.  A deputy spotted the Pit Bull and took him to the Fond du Lac Animal Shelter. Shelter manager Renee Webb says the shelter was able to contact the owner because of a microchip on the dog.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Legislature has passed a bill that would loosen wetland restoration requirements for public utilities.  The Assembly passed the measure Tuesday on a voice vote. The Senate followed with its own voice vote later in the day, sending the bill to Gov.
