KESHENA, Wis. (AP) — Menominee Tribal Police say a parent on the reservation in northeastern Wisconsin found a packet of methamphetamine among her child's trick-or-treat Halloween candy. The parent turned the small packet of crystal powder over to police early Monday and officers say it tested positive for meth. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Democrats have introduced a bill banning bump stocks, devices that convert semi-automatic rifles into fully automatic weapons.  Authorities say Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock had such devices with him. 9-25-17 facebook threat at fondy homecoming game

9-18-17 suspect arrested in uw oshkosh sexual assault incidents

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin is among a handful of states that are covering student athlete concussions.  The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will have access to concussion insurance free of charge. The association has purchased its concussion insurance policy, called HeadStrong.   The policy will cover kids in grades 6 through 12 participating in sports sanctioned by the association.
