The Fond du Lac Area United Way is making a last minute plea for donations.  United Way Executive Director Amber Kilawee says the fund drive is at 90 percent of the goal. Kilawee says a little more than $682,000 has been raised…about $73,000 short of the goal.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A lottery official says the estimated prize for this weekend's Powerball drawing is the largest jackpot of any lottery game in U.S. history.  Texas Lottery spokeswoman Kelly Cripe says Saturday's drawing will be worth about $675 million. 1-2-16 high speed chase suspect charged

A Milwaukee man has been charged in connection with a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County last week.  Eighteen year old Corey Nash made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Wednesday on charges of recklessly endangering safety, driving a stolen vehicle, fleeing an officer and resisting.  Bail was set at $30,000 cash.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 8th.   On December 26th a sheriff’s deputy clocked the suspect vehicle […]
