The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a town of Beaver Dam gas station.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the BP gas station on Madison Street was robbed at gunpoint shortly after 8am Tuesday.  The suspect displayed a weapon, stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.  He was last seen traveling westbound on Lake Crest Drive in the city of Beaver Dam.  A $500 […]

A  mother has pulled her 15-year daughter out of  Campbellsport High School for what she said was cyber-bullying, the superintendent says it was a case of harrassment.  Superintendent Paul Amundson says the girl received calls and an inappropriate text November 30th from an unknown phone number.  The text referenced  prostitution. A 35 cent drop in the price of a gallon of unleaded regular gas in Wisconsin in the last month is the third largest drop in the country.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says after several months of being higher than the national average, prices in Wisconsin started this week five cents below the national average. 11-20-15 wedc may have awarded tax credits without authorization

MADISON, Wis. (AP) —Gov. Scott Walker's troubled economic development agency may have awarded $21 million in tax credits to companies it wasn't' authorized to give out.  The  nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau sent a letter in August to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation noting that the agency had awarded $101.7 million in contracts, or $21.3 million more than its legal limit.  An attorney with the state Department of Administration, a Walker […]
