Several construction projects are underway or nearing completion in Fond du lac.  Community Development Director Dyann Benson says after a brief lag in construction the Hampton Inn project is almost done.  The Meadows Senior apartment complex on Rolling Meadows Drive is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year; and the contractor is setting roof trusses on the Mercury Marine expansion project.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Assembly has passed a bill that would give state troopers a 6 percent raise.  The body approved the measure 94-0 on Wednesday. The Senate passed the proposal on Tuesday. It now goes to Gov.
