2-4-22 amity school placed on lockdown thursday

Nobody was injured and the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office is investigating following an incident that forced a lockdown at Amity School Thursday afternoon.   According to a Sheriff's  log shortly after 12:30pm Thursday two 8th grade students were throwing items at a teacher and roaming the halls.   Staff and students were placed in a temporary lockdown until the situation was resolved.

2-2-22 marquette law school poll shows biden leads trump or desantis in hypothetical presidential race

A Marquette Law School Poll survey of adults nationwide finds that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump run equally well against Democratic President Joe Biden in hypothetical 2024 matchups, although Biden leads both Republicans.  Poll director Charles Franklin says in a head-to-head matchup, DeSantis is supported by 33%, while Biden is supported by 41%. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A member of the Department of Natural Resources policy board is suggesting that the agency's new wolf management plan not include a specific population goal. The DNR's current wolf management plan dates back to 1999 and sets out a population goal of 350 animals. 1-20-22 mcdermott park opens for ice skating

The City of Fond du Lac Park’s Division has announced the opening of the McDermott Park Outdoor Skating Rink.
