Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in the town of Waupun. Firefighters say the blaze Thursday apparently started by melting old bee hives in a barn at the Katherine and Brian Emmer residence on Hemp Road near Alto. Authorities have identified the man killed in an apartment fire in Waupun. Waupun Fire Chief B.J DeMaa says the victim has been identified as 54 year old Todd Conn. He was found dead in his apartment. DeMaa says the state fire marshal is involved in the investigation but the cause is not believed to be suspicious.
