7-14-14 another liquid manure spill in fdl county

Another liquid manure spill has been reported in Fond du lac County.  County executive Al Buechel says the spill was reported by Vir-Clar Dairy shortly after 9pm Saturday.  An estimated 1,000 gallons of liquid manure spilled onto Fourth Street Road shortly after 8:30pm Saturday. 7-12-14 another dodge county cemetery theft

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the thefts of grave markers honoring Veterans from local cemeteries: Oakwood Cemetery on Hwy 33 just east of Hwy 151 in the Township of Beaver Dam and Stone Hill Cemetery on County Trunk E near State Hwy 26 in the Township of Burnett. 7-8-14 fdl apartment fire

Several occupants were treated for smoke inhalation following a fire this morning at a Fond du lac apartment complex.  Firefighters were called to the scene at 180 North Butler Street  and contained the fire to a first floor apartment.  The unit is uninhabitable and there was smoke damage reported throughout the 20 unit building.

Fond du Lac based American Bank has acquired Waukesha’s InvestorsBank, a private, family-owned full service bank known mostly for its work with entrepreneurs and small businesses. American Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of NEB Corp., which has assets in excess of $1.5 billion. InvestorsBank will operate under the American Bank name after the acquisition wins regulatory approval, expected later this year. 7-3-14 fatal plane crash-winnebago county

POYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman says an ultralight airplane crashed in central Wisconsin and the pilot was killed.  Elizabeth Isham Cory said Wednesday in a statement that the pilot was the sole occupant of the single-engine plane. WAUKESHA, Wis.
